About Mazafati dates

Mazafati dates are among the softest dates in the world, prized for their high moisture content and rich, honeyed sweetness. Because they are picked and sold at the soft “rotab” stage rather than fully dried, they must be kept chilled. The variety takes its name from the Bam district, so you will also see it sold as kurma Mazafati Bam or Mazafati Iran.
